What is EZ Deposit?
EZ Deposit is a new web-based system that allows businesses to make check
deposits from an office computer without having to bring the checks to the
bank.
A deposit made through EZ Deposit is just as good as an in-person check
deposit, thanks to "Check 21" laws, which make a substitute check legally
the same as the original check.
How does EZ Deposit work?
- Log on, scan your checks on the check scanner, then click to submit
your deposit. That's all there is to it!
- There's no deposit slip to fill out. On the next business day after
your deposit, a report can be printed. This report can be kept with
your scanned checks.
- The system is set up to access any and all accounts you may need
to make deposits to. You simply select the appropriate account when
you log on to make the deposit.
- You can make deposits 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How fast is EZ Deposit?
- You'll be surprised how quickly you can scan checks. Once you use
EZ Deposit, you'll never think of going back to making deposits the
old way.
- All deposits made by 5 p.m. each business day are posted to your
account that day. You can check your account online the following business
day to see that the deposit was made.
What does it cost?
- The EZ Deposit check scanner is provided free of charge.
- With the Commercial Checking with Analysis Account, a higher balance
can help offset your low monthly access and transaction fees.

- As with all online baking, First Choice Community Bank's ultra-secure
encryption technology and password protection ensures that your money,
and your financial information, are always safe and secure.
How do I get started?
- Establish a First Choice Commercial Checking with Analysis Account,
if you don't already have one.
- At your request, we'll bring the check scanner to your office. We'll
connect it to your computer, establish your secure access, and verify
that everything is working properly, so there's nothing you need to
figure out.
- You'll be provided with secure Login IDs, PIN numbers, and passwords.
- There's no software to install on your computer. EZ Deposit is a
web-based system, like most other online banking functions.
- We'll also show you and your designated staff members how to initiate
deposits online and scan checks.
- If you ever have a question, simply call and we'll be happy to help.
